Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2019, Yapp Brothers has built a considerable reputation as an importer of high quality, grower wines from small domaines. The company is widely recognized as the UK’s leading specialist in wines from the Rhône, Loire, Provence and Languedoc and its’ agencies include well-established names such as Jean-Louis Chave, Georges Vernay, Patrick Jasmin, Auguste Clape, Alain Graillot, Le Vieux Donjon, Domaine de Trévallon and La Grange des Pères.
Founded as a Rhône and Loire specialist in 1969 by Robin Yapp, Yapp Brothers is now run by his son, Jason and step-son, Tom. Although the company has broadened its range to become a one-stop shop for France (listings from the Savoie, Jura, Corsica to name a few), as well as listing an increasing number of characterful wines from Spain, Germany and Australia, the Yapp ethos of sourcing the finest examples a region has to offer, remains unchanged.
