Private Cellar was founded in 2005 by three friends. Since then, our team has grown in number but our mission remains the same: to provide a truly personal wine service, offering a focused range of wines which are outstanding in their category, sourced direct from growers we admire and are proud to represent. Our knowledgeable and approachable staff have clocked up over 200 years of experience in sourcing, selling and storing wine having worked with a range of leading UK wine merchants and, by keeping low overheads, we are keen to pass our knowledge and wines on to you at the best value for money that we can deliver.
Working from two distinct wine lists we offer wines for every day drinking, which are always in stock and represented in our Private Cellar Selection, as well as fine and rare wines, listed on our constantly changing Fine Wine List. Thanks to our years of experience in the UK market, we have access to the world’s most exciting and sought after wines and vintages, sourced both from private cellars and direct from the vineyards and our Fine Wine List carries over a million pounds worth of stock with excellent provenance.
We offer a fully comprehensive service to all wine buyers, including advice on building a wine collection and buying wine for investment.
